Fallen angels, working through sinful men, do attempt to pervert the original Word of God and produce counterfeit writings. But a counterfeit does not invalidate the authentic original.
A fake Louis Vuitton bag does not change the reality of the authentic Louis Vuitton stores operating around the world. Counterfeit bags only imitate the real thing at a cheaper price, and many people settle for the appearance of authenticity without paying the cost of the genuine product.

These stores follow strict manufacturing, quality, and distribution standards that counterfeiters cannot replicate. In fact, Louis Vuitton is the most counterfeited luxury brand in the world, and counterfeiting became such a problem early in the brand’s rise that Georges Vuitton created the LV Monogram in 1896 specifically to fight fakes. The Monogram was not designed for decoration it was designed for protection.
There are countless counterfeit sellers producing imitation bags for a fraction of the price. But their existence does not invalidate the authenticity of the real Louis Vuitton stores. Counterfeits exist because the original is valuable, not because the original is questionable.
Yet no one concludes that all Louis Vuitton products are fake simply because counterfeit versions exist. No one says, “I cannot trust the Louis Vuitton store in New York; it must be different from the original one in France.” Everyone understands that the existence of counterfeits does not corrupt the real thing.
